Working on a ski field you make friends from all around the world. When my Europe trip took me towards the Czech Republic I met up with my good friend Jana in Prague. First we did a road trip down to Charmonix, France, and Verbier, Switzerland before going back to Jana’s home in Ostrava in east Czech where I got to spend my first winter Christmas with her family.
Prague and Budapest are the 2 most beautiful cities that I visited in Europe. We walked around in the evening and the reflections in the water were amazing!
Prague
A VERY narrow walkway indeed!
Pouring your own beer at your own table and paying by the litre
Charmonix, France

We all worked together in New Zealand at Porters Ski Field
The inappropriate snow man!
We stayed with our friend Chloe for a week and it snowed for the first 4 days without stopping. Eventually it cleared up and we went skiing in 1m of fresh snow. It was like nothing I’ve skied in at home in New Zealand and it takes a bit of getting used to! But so worth it!

Thank you to all the people who looked after me when I was in the Czech Republic. It was one of the highlights of my Europe trip and one of my favorite countries that I have visited!
Thanks especially to my friend Jana who I spent the duration of my stay with!!
